The Speedway at Willow Springs International Raceway 2014 Schedule

Follow Us

Good morning Willow Springs Racing Community.

We are very happy to announce our schedule for 2014. We will be adding a Test and Tune, and Track Clean Up Day shortly, please expect them both to be in either late February or early March ahead of opening night. Our opening night will be March 29th, and we will end once again with the Second Annual Pumpkin Smash on October 25th. August 9th will be a Night of Destruction with all regular divisions having the evening off. We have avoided many local events, and worked around other tracks schedules as best we can. We have no conflicts with OSS, and only twice with Irwindale. Thank you to Rod Proctor at OSS for working together on this project. Thank you to Jim Cohan at Irwindale for his invaluable assistance with our Skid Plate division, and will not be running the plate cars the dates we do conflict. I personally consider OSS and Irwindale as sister race tracks to us, and have always championed this philosophy. (Add Madera, I-10, and the Bullring as well)

Please join me in supporting all these tracks. We are all in this together.

Aaron Staudinger, Gerrit Cromsigt (also Tech Director at OSS), Mike Brocius, Greg Benner, Ray Cran, Drew D’Addario, all return in their respective positions for the season.  Lucas Oil has joined us as a product sponsor for 2014, and we are very excited to have Lucas on board with us for the first time. We hope to have more sponsor announcements over the coming weeks.

After our meeting in December, I am very excited about the people that have come forward to help our track move forward. As I mentioned at the meeting, this is a Group effort. Without our dedicated Team, racing just wouldn’t be possible. I thank each and every one of you for a terrific 2013, and can’t wait to see what 2014 brings us.

Thank You, and look forward to seeing everyone at the banquet.
